Registration Forms
Registration forms are attached to specific events and control what attendees see when registering.
What a Registration Form Includes
A registration form can define:
- form name
- language
- page template
- background style
- fields shown to the attendee
- assigned groups
- redirect behavior
- thank-you message
- countdown visibility
Create a Registration Form
From the event registration forms area, create a new form and configure:
- Form name
- Form language
- Whether the registration countdown should be shown
- Optional group assignment
- Which event fields should appear on the form
- Which page template should be used
- Background color or image
- Optional redirect URL after registration
- Thank-you message content
Edit a Registration Form
The edit page supports:
- updating all existing form settings
- replacing the form background
- changing assigned groups
- changing visible fields
- toggling countdown display
- deleting the form
Countdown Visibility
Registration forms can store a showCountdown setting.
When enabled:
- the public registration page displays the deadline countdown if the event has a registration deadline
When disabled:
- the public page hides the countdown block even if a deadline exists
Group Assignment
Forms can assign attendees into one or more groups during registration flows, depending on the registration configuration and group status.
Only active groups should be used for current registration behavior.
Public Registration Flow
The public registration experience typically includes:
- Attendee enters email
- System checks whether the attendee already exists
- Attendee completes missing data
- Optional photo upload and crop
- Submission creates or updates badge holder data
- Participant record is linked to the event
Notes
- registration deadline comes from the event, not the form itself
- countdown visibility comes from the form
- public registration behavior depends on both the form document and the registration app
