Event Modules

Event modules are the feature areas available inside an existing event.

Use these modules to manage participants, event access, scan activity, terms and conditions, exhibitor lead scanning, and exports.

Participants

The Participants module shows the badge holders assigned to the event.

Use this page to:

  • review participant names, email addresses, groups, assignment dates, and current status
  • search participants by name or related attendee information
  • filter participants by group
  • filter participants by status
  • filter participants by event-specific custom fields
  • open a participant's badge holder profile
  • update an individual participant status
  • bulk update the status of selected participants
  • open the access management page for the event
  • export participants to CSV

Participant statuses come from the access statuses configured on the event. Typical statuses include:

  • Approved
  • Denied
  • Under Review

The approved participant count is shown separately so teams can quickly understand how many participants are ready for operational workflows.

Participant Exports

The Participants module includes a CSV export tool.

Before exporting, choose which event fields to include. The export uses the current filters on the participants page, so search, group, status, and custom-field filters affect the exported file.

Use participant exports when you need to:

  • share filtered attendee lists with staff
  • audit approved or denied participants
  • prepare external operational reports
  • review event-specific custom field data outside Tagmer

Scan Code

The scan code is a temporary event access code used by event staff in the mobile scanner app.

From the event edit page, users with access to the feature can:

  • generate a scan code
  • copy the current scan code
  • revoke the current scan code
  • generate a replacement code

The scan code expires when the event ends.

Use this code only with trusted event staff. Anyone with a valid code can use the scanner app for that event while the code is active.

Exhibitor Scanning

Exhibitor scanning allows participating exhibitors to scan leads from a separate web scanning app.

The exhibitor scanning URL is:

https://leads.tagmer.com

In Tagmer, event administrators create exhibitor stands for the event. Each stand includes:

  • stand name
  • stand contact email
  • access code
  • fields shared with the exhibitor

When a stand is created, Tagmer generates an access code for that exhibitor. The selected shared fields control which attendee data the exhibitor can access after scanning.

Use exhibitor scanning when sponsors, booths, or exhibitors need a controlled way to capture attendee leads without giving them access to the main Tagmer admin area.

Event Terms and Conditions

The Terms and Conditions module stores event-specific legal or registration text.

Use the editor to add and format the terms shown for the event. The editor supports:

  • bold
  • italic
  • strike
  • H1 headings
  • H2 headings
  • bullet lists
  • ordered lists

Save the terms after editing. If no terms exist yet, the page starts with placeholder content.

Scanning Logs

The Scans module shows the scan history for an event.

Each scan record can include:

  • attendee name
  • organization or company
  • email address
  • time of scan
  • scan code used
  • status at the time of scan

Only owner and admin roles can view scan history.

The scan log can be exported to Excel. Export options include:

  • all scan records
  • unique records

Use all scan records when you need a complete audit trail. Use unique records when you want one row per scanned attendee.

Unique records are also useful for post-event batch workflows such as creating certificates, diplomas, thank-you emails, or other attendee follow-up lists.

Live Scanning

Live Scanning shows the most recent scan activity in real time.

The page listens for the 50 most recent scans and updates automatically as new scans are recorded. New rows are briefly highlighted so event staff can identify fresh activity as it arrives.

Use Live Scanning during event operations when staff need immediate visibility into attendee check-ins or access activity.
